The bathroom was amazing, with a lovely bathtub to soak in after a long day exploring. It felt so indulgent, like my own personal spa retreat. As someone who loves a good soak, this was pure bliss.
Personally, I found the bathroom a bit small. But hey, I know some people might think it adds to the charm!

The location was amazing, close to the old village but still quiet with parkland and a duck pond nearby. The cottage itself felt like a home away from home, with every convenience thought of. Plus, it was incredibly well equipped, from a first aid kit to a picnic backpack and phone chargers. The cleanliness and communication with the host were also top-notch.
On warmer evenings, the bedrooms got uncomfortably hot and having a fan would have been great. Additionally, the front bedroom could benefit from a fan to cool it down.

The location of the cottage is perfect, just a short walk from the charming old village. the cottage itself is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. the grounds of Shanklin Manor, where the cottage is located, are stunning and provide a peaceful setting. the hosts have thought of everything and have provided an abundance of amenities, from a well-equipped kitchen to a first aid kit and even a picnic backpack.
The bedrooms can get quite hot in the evenings and it would have been nice to have a fan to cool down. the outside light from a neighboring property shines directly into one of the bedrooms, making it difficult to sleep with the curtains open.
